Wildpainting workshop in
Nuuksio national park, Finland

The Public School Helsinki, 10 October 2010

Drawing the language of birch skin,
as the tree's poem, musical score, text,
signs or symbols...

Painting a lake landscape in three parts: upper first part in the composite colors to the colors we saw, the middle part in dark tones without using black, and the lower, third part in light hues.

Later we, or most of us, applied the autumn colors as we actually saw them, there in Nuuksio, in the painting, on top of the wild purple and red colors.

And then the sun started to disappear
and an evening chill sank down on us.
Time to return to Helsinki!
