Repository of materials of the research group on arts-based environmental education at Aalto University, School of Arts, Design and Architecture

The research group on arts-based environmental education (AEE) was established in Helsinki in 2007 and continued to exist as an active group until 2017.The aim of our group was to increase understanding of the value of employing artistic methods in education about the environment, to develop new methods and concepts for AEE, and to act as a platform for sharing information and practices.At this website, we present visitors a wealth of archived materials. Most new information on AEE is now shared at the page of the “Arts-based environmental education community” on Facebook. We continue to provide information at this website on relevant new publications in our field.
